WEEK 14

Assalamualaikum 🙂

Hello everybody!

FYI, I do not attend the class for this week because I got a fever 😦 As for the lecture, all of the group need to present their video one more time and this week, the mark for the video would be final. Oh, forgot to tell, it was a second EduTechNovation Day and according to my friends, some of the seniors did came to give their support. Wow, thanks a lot seniors!

Well, actually at that day, I just lying in my bed and sleep. Nothing much I can do as I felt so weak. Suddenly my phone vibrate. Aqilah message me.

Aqilah : Tihah, we’re first runner up.

Me : Really??

Qilah : Yup, for overall.

* I’m so excited but at the same time quite disappointed because I can’t celebrate it with them

Me : Good job guys!

Qilah : We’ll going to your room after this.

After the class, all of Ladies Production team came and brought a huge hamper. Haha. Thank guys!

WEEK 13

Assalamualaikum 🙂

Hello everybody!

This week is EduTechNovation Day! After our effort..really hope that our video can attract all. So sorry because I don’t snap any picture to share 😦 Throughout this week, lot of things happened. Due to some misunderstanding, my group thought that we need to edit our video and it make us a little bit stress as we don’t know which part to cut and edit. We also need to edit our poster again and again as it don’t convey the exact message.

Here, I on the behalf Ladies Production want to say “we are really really sorry” to Dr.Rosseni and other facilitators for all the misunderstanding. Here is a song for all of you.

Well, back to the EduTechNovation Day, overall for our video is good, alhamdulillah. But still we need to re-shoot some part of the video because we do not wear a suitable clothes for the scene. Ok, let’s check it out   suitable clothes for flashback part.

WEEK 12

Assalamualaikum 🙂

Hello everybody!

Ok, for this week lecturer, emm..hurmm..my friends and I were really being ‘lectured’ bout our blog. Guess what? Most of our blogs are not good enough to help us get high mark. Our lecturer, Dr. Rosseni had told us our overall mark and it is bad ok.. I said it again, BAD. What to do?? 

Well, in my opinion, we don’t need this individual blog as we already have group blog and FB group. My group and I interact most through Facebook and if we really need this individual blog, group blog is not necessary. Actually, I enjoyed so much sharing what I had done with others but I do have lots other things to be covered and sometimes I get stuck in writing for a few hours. 

Don’t think that what had I been posting every week is just for academic purpose only ok.. I really enjoyed sharing but what I want to say here is I do not have enough time to keep updating the blog. ;(

But still I go good news to share. We had finish editing our video and ready to present it next week. Pray for the best guys! The facilitators had seen our video and they said it is great! Seriously?? 

After got that positive comment, Ladies Production had celebrate it by buying Nasi Arab. Haha. I guess it too early but we glad that we already finish our assignment and just need to prepare for next week presentation 🙂

We got one more extra member, Mr.Zaki. He is one of our classmate but he don’t have to take this course. We ask him to become the teacher’s father ( Sya’s father ) .

Actually we want to take this scene at Taman Pantun, UKM but as we are not allowed to do there because of some problem so we change the place to Taman Botani, Putrajaya.

WEEK 11

Assalamualaikum 🙂

Hello everybody!

Now it’s already week 11. Got 4 more week then here we go for the final exam but waitttt……before that, we have to present our video. I’m so nervous. Right now, my group and I had done our best and we hope it will satisfied all especially lecturer, Dr. Rosseni and other facilitators.

Let’s take a look, what had I learn for this week lecture 😉

1. My group ( Ladies Generation ) need to present our video progress because one of my group member doesn’t come last week. We just present about the objective of our video, the effect that we use in our video such as lomo effect and a teaser for our video 😉 One of my facilitator give a  positive comment ” your introductory video is great but you should make it longer as we cannot read the fact because it too fast “. Thanks a lot!

– Well, that’s only our teaser. We will improve it. We also have to make sure that the introduction is not too long as it will drag other scenes as the time limit for a video is not more than 10 minutes. Furthermore, our highlight is at the flashback part.

2. Kak Ana shared some good blog reflection from the senior that we can use as a guideline. She comment on our blog reflections as we do not really follow the criteria needed. So, it may effect our marks later on.

– Thanks Kak Ana. By the way, I know my blog is not too good but if you can see, I try to improve my post every week..hehe.

3. Mr. Helmi teach us on how to create a poster using Adobe Photoshop.

– As we already learn how to use Adobe Photoshop so I think it will not be difficult but it is difficult to create a good poster that related with our Jawi video.  Guyssss, what we want to do now?? Haha. Google for jawi background but no interesting image. At last……

Well, that not our poster 😉 As I can’t found a good image, I just use our image to learn on how to create a poster. Hehe

– Well, I think we need more than 24 hours per day!! The video still need to edit and now we need to create poster.

WEEK 10

Assalamulaikum 🙂

Hello everybody!

For this week, all of the group must present their video production progress. As for my group, we were given chance to present it next week as Aqilah cannot attend the class because of some health problem. Nothing much to show as I do not capture any picture.

From my observation, all of the groups are doing a great job! They apply all of the elements that we had learned in the class. For me, to make a video that can deliver the message well and can attract the audience is not easy. From an education background, with no basic on how to create a good movie, all of us have shown a great works. I do impress with some of the videos as they are so interesting and fun.

I do found some of the group make some changes to their videos. Same goes with our video too. With lot of works and not enough time, we had to change the flow of the video. It is fun to hanging out with your group members and act but the most tiring part is when you start to edit your video. Seriously, it can spoil your mood for a day. Hehe. So, I think any one that working in film world has high patience. You know, even you have learn on how to edit and everything but if you still new and seldom use the application to edit your video, you will get into problems. That is what happen to our group.

I do love to act but not in editing. It really take a long time and I feel like I’m wasting my time as I still have another assignment to do. Moreover, I do not think that I’ll use it when I’m teaching afterward.

Video Progress

Assalamualaikum 🙂

So, today I’ll share another video progress with all of you. For my group ( Ladies Production ), we decided to make a short movie about Jawi. As all of you already know, our story line can be divided into two different times, today’s world and in the past where Jawi was being used everywhere.

My role in this movie, I become the one that explain the history and the importance of tulisan Jawi. My three lovely group members would act like they do not know how to read Jawi and having difficulties in doing their assignment. When they finish their part, then I’ll come out and explain as the closing part 😉

Well, we record the video in Student Executive Council Room of Kolej Ungku Omar 😉 it take about an hour to finish as I can’t remember the script. I feel awkward to speak in front of the camera plus quite shy with Diyana. Luckily, she so sporting and encourage me to do better. She also help me to find a good angle and help me in the way I deliver the information.

I’m so sorry that I can’t show the video yet as my group want to make it suprise 🙂

WEEK 9

Assalamualaikum 😀

Hello everybody!

For this week, I’ve learned about Adobe Photoshop 😉

For your information, I never use Adobe Photoshop before because I don’t usually editing my picture. Hehe.. If i want edit my picture or doing poster,I just using Power Point. Simple & easy I thought! I always seeing my friends using Photoshop and I just think ” Oh, it’s too complicated! I’ll never use it”

But after I learned how to use Adobe Photoshop, I was like ” Heyy, it’s not too complicated! “. I managed to follow the steps after struggle a little bit. Hehe.. So, want to look what I had done? Tadaa..

So, basically the steps are quite complicated and if I just write it down here, maybe you will get confused. So, I will share video for you to see as it may help you better.

Just want to share what I think when you want to learn something that is what I can say “technical” like this, you can’t learn it just by reading. As for me, I need to see the steps, if not I don’t think that I can get it. Furthermore, to get used with this application, you need to do it over and over again. You need to discover the technique by your own. Even I get interest with this program, honesty I do not download it because I think I don’t have any purpose in using it.

So, before I end, let watch Adobe Photoshop tutorial & start edit your picture!

VIDEO PROGRESS

Assalamualaikum 😀

Hello everybody!!

For your information, this week is a mid semester break!! Of course I went back to my hometown in Terengganu. Yeepii!! 😀 So many holiday right? hehe.. By the way, even I’m in holiday fever, I still need to do something for the video production. Luckily, one of my group member is living at the same town, just different village. Guess who?? Well, she is Yana!!

So, on Wednesday, we met and try to figure out what we want to do. At first, we were thinking on acting. One of us will become a student and the other one will become a villager. But as it was raining cat and dog, we just decided to take a few photos of signboard that still using tulisan Jawi.. here are some of them :

For your information, both of the picture above is taken at Pekan Kuala Berang, Terengganu and both shops belong to Chinese people!

Well, from the pictures above, we can can conclude that tulisan jawi is still been use in some areas and of the area is my hometown. Wow, I’m so proud of it!

Actually it is not an easy job to take all of the photos as there are many people were starring at me. Haha. I think they were wondering what I do and why I take the pictures. I’m quite ashamed then :p but luckily there’s Yana.

Well, actually we take those photos to differentiated between the area that still using tulisan Jawi and the area that no longer using tulisan Jawi. Of course we can differentiated them in terms of communication so we decided to show something obvious like signboards.

Let’s start using tulisan Jawi at any your shop signboard and at other places guysss!!
